Welcome to the St. Charles Parish School website. Thank you for your interest in learning about St. Charles' school, one of the healthiest, most vibrant school communities within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. St. Charles Parish School, Hartland, WI, has provided academically challenging, faith-based education to thousands of students since 1959. St. Charles is a Catholic educational community, preparing students academically, spiritually, and morally for the opportunities and responsibilities of the future. St. Charles educates students beyond the fundamentals focusing on the significance of individualized learning, cooperation, responsibility, respect, and service to others.
St. Charles Catholic Grade School — Preschool through 8th Grade
We keep faith central to every aspect of our students’ education while meeting their unique intellectual and social needs at every stage of their lives. Academically, our instructional strategies integrate technology into the classroom. The curriculum is departmentalized with experienced teachers who offer a higher level of expertise in their fields. There is a greater emphasis on 21st century learning, such as critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, communication and collaboration.
St. Charles Parish School is fully accredited through Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA). The assessment process consists of a self-study year as well as a school visitation and writing of school improvement plans, which occurred in 2020-2021. The self-study and school visitation are undertaken at least once every seven years. The school improvement plan is regularly updated. The next evaluation visit will be in 2027-2028.

St. Charles Parish School most recently received an Exemplary Recognition Award in Educating the Whole Child from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. This is St. Charles' third Exemplary Recognition honor in the last decade.
