Reminders For A Full Week of School
We are in school five days this week with one Early Release Day. Please take a minute to peruse the latest events so you can be up-to-date on school news.

Dress Down Days
Monday, Feb. 18: Red/White/Blue Dress Down Day (make up day from Catholic Schools Week).
Wednesday, Feb. 20: Dress Down Day to celebrate our hardworking students and their MAP testing and scores. Students are welcome to wear Dress Down bottoms with their Spirit Wear t-shirts and sweatshirts.
Friday, Feb. 22: Western wear to celebrate the Dance-a-Thon.
Movie Afternoon on Tuesday, Feb. 19: Let your kids stay at school a couple of hours longer (and give yourself a little break after all the snow days) for Movie Afternoon as we show "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" once school is out at 11:45 am for Teacher In-Service. It will be a relaxing afternoon with popcorn and chocolate bars! Please register by Monday, Feb. 18. Get all the details HERE.
Have You Turned in Your Dance-a-Thon Envelope? Turn it in by Wednesday, Feb. 20 and you child will receive 2 raffle tickets for the movie basket. Turn in the envelope by Thursday, Feb. 21 and receive one raffle ticket. All parents are welcome to join the fun at the Dance-a-Thon on Friday, Feb. 22. If you can volunteer click HERE. Rosary Group Meets at 8:30 am in the Life Teen Cafe on Wednesday, Feb 20. Take 30 minutes for our Blessed Mother and come pray with us. You will be on your way by 9 am.

State of the School Address on Thursday, Feb. 21 beginning at 6:30 pm in the STEM Lab. Take time to learn more about goals for St. Charles Parish School in the coming year from Fr. Ken, Principal Garvey and School Commission Chair Jon Ingrisano. More details HERE.
Anxiety in Children and How Parents Can Help: Parents, parishioners, family and friends are invited to an educational talk about childhood anxiety on Sunday, Feb. 24 given by Dr. Jeffrey Karst, a pediatric psychologist at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The talk, sponsored by the Home and School Association, is free and begins at 7:15 pm in the Borromeo Room. Open to the public so invite friends and family. Learn more HERE.
Easy Volunteer Hours: The Home and School Association is hosting a lunch for school and parish staff on Tuesday, Feb. 19 in the early afternoon. If you're able to help provide food for the lunch we would greatly appreciate it. This is an easy way to earn service hours! Learn more HERE.
