Reminders For The Week of May 20
This is the last full week of school and there are plenty of activities so get ready!
School Mass Tuesday, May 21: School Mass for Grades 3K through 4th Grade is on Tuesday, May 21 with 3rd Grade leading. School Mass for 5th through 8th Grades is on Thursday, May 23 with 5th Grade leading.
Field Day: Our annual fun in the sun event is THIS WEEK! Field Day is Wednesday, May 22 and we need help from 12 more volunteers. This is such a great day. Come on out and enjoy the end of the school year with our kids. Click HERE to volunteer and help us out! This is a Dress Down Day for our students.
Golf Outing Returns: Save the Date for the 19th Annual St. Charles Parish and School Golf Outing to be held Sunday, June 2 at Ironwood Golf Course to support Athletics. Details about registration and sponsorships HERE! For questions, please contact Ashley Lillesand.
May Crowning: A beautiful St. Charles tradition featuring 2nd Graders. Join us on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 pm in front of the church and watch the kids process to the Marian Grotto. More details HERE.
Last Day of School For 8th Graders: The final day for our graduating students is Friday, May 24. There will be an assembly in the afternoon in the gym beginning at 2:30 pm. All parents are welcome. Please sign in at the School Office when you arrive.
Music Ministry Showcase: Relax with a spectacular evening of music on Friday, May 24 at the Music Ministry Showcase at 7 pm in the church. All choirs -- including the Children's Choir -- will sing. The evening will be faith-filled and memorable. Learn more HERE.
Other Events In Coming Weeks:
Rosary Group Wednesday, May 29: The final Rosary Group session will be Wednesday, May 29 in the Life Teen Cafe. Come pray for our school and students, teachers, staff and all families as we embark on summer break. Reciting the rosary begins promptly at 8:30 am and is finished before 9 am. Please come!
Jesus & Me Slated for May 29: The last Jesus and Me preschool program for the School Year is Wednesday, May 29. The lesson is WILD ABOUT JESUS SAFARI. Learn more HERE.
Children's Choir Members for the 2019-2020 School Year: Do you know children who would like to sing with the Children's Choir? We are happy to welcome any and all students who are interested in singing for School Masses and other special weekend Masses during the school year.
Current 2nd Graders and other newcomers are welcome to attend rehearsals on Tuesday, May 28 and/or Tuesday, June 4 from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm and then they are welcome to sing with the choir at the School Mass on Thursday, June 6 at 8:30 am. Please think seriously about having your children join this wonderful group. 8th Grade Graduation Events: An All School Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 30 at 8:30 am to honor the 8th Graders with the graduation ceremony later that evening beginning at 6 pm in the church. A reception will follow in the Borromeo Room. Please join us!
Last Day of School for students in 3K through 7th Grade: Thursday, June 6. The All School Mass begins at 8:30 am with the 7th Grade leading.
