The Week Ahead includes Parent Info Nights on September 4 & 11 and Fall Fest, which runs from September 6-8:
Parking, Drop Off and Pick Up For The Week: Drop off on Tuesday morning, September 3 will be normal. However, pick up on Tuesday afternoon will be altered as trucks start rolling in. When the trucks and tents arrive, drop off and pick up will be through the West Entrance off of Renson Road. There will be very limited parking in the parish parking lot. We ask for your patience as you enter the parish and school parking lot throughout next week. Please drive slowly and cautiously as we prepare for Fall Fest!
Parent Info Nights September 4 & 11: Our Parent Info Nights are on Wednesday, September 4 (3K-4th grade) and Wednesday, September 11 (5th-8th grade). We will discuss some general information and provide a few school updates. In addition, parents will break out into their child=E2=80=99s classroom for additional information from the teachers. There will be two sessions (approx. 20 minutes each) with teachers. If you have more than two children in different grade levels, please reach out to teachers you were unable to meet with. Parent Info Night begins at 6 p.m. each night. September 4's event begins in the Borromeo Room near the church, and September 11's event starts in the STEM Lab downstairs.
Wristband Raffle: Students interested in entering a raffle for a wristband for carnival rides during Fall Fest are asked to bring non-perishable food items for the St. Charles Food Pantry. Two wristbands will be given away - one will be for Saturday afternoon only and the other will be for Sunday afternoon only. There is a bin near the School Office where you can drop the cans during morning drop off from Tuesday, September 3 through Friday, September 6.
Receive one drawing entry for each donated item. Please note: No expired items will be accepted. They especially need saltines, jelly, canned pineapple, canned peas, canned potatoes (no other canned vegetables needed), chili, brown sugar, powdered sugar, Kleenex, and Piggly Wiggly/Sentry/Pick 'n Save gift cards.
A total of two lucky winners from the school will be drawn on Friday, September 6 at 3 p.m. Winners will be announced at the end of the school day on Friday, September 6.
Mass Days This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade will attend Mass on Tuesday, September 3, and students in 5th through 8th Grade attend Thursday, September 5. Please remember that shorts are not allowed on Mass days.
Spirit Wear On Wednesday, September 4: Students are encouraged to wear Spirit Wear shirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesday, September 4 and every Wednesday during the school year. Need more Spirit Wear? The Fall sale will run later this month from September 27-October 7. This will be the only sale prior to the holidays!
Fall Fest Dress Down Day On Friday, September 6: Students are welcome to dress down for $2. This is a special offer Dress Down Day because we know kids will want to hit the carnival rides at Fall Fest right after school ends on Friday. Bring in the money on Friday, September 6 and give it to your child's teacher. This is a Dress Down Day, but dress code rules still apply.

* Mass Days Tuesday, September 10 and Thursday, September 12
