Reminders for this week:
Halloween Parade and Parties:
- Please print the Halloween permission slip here and fill it out and return to your child's teacher. Permission slips are due tomorrow, October 28.
- The Halloween Parade on October 31 begins at about 1:30 p.m., and students in 4K through 8th Grade will travel through downtown Hartland in their costumes. PLEASE NOTE: Students in 3K who are staying for the afternoon will be able to participate in the parade. They will need a permission slip.
- Halloween classroom parties for 4K through 5th grade will follow the parade.
- Be sure to keep costumes simple so that students can easily change into them. Also, no fake weaponry is allowed as part of a costume. Thank you for your understanding!
Middle School Food Drive: Our middle school students will be hosting a food drive from tomorrow, October 28 through Thursday, October 31. Only middle school students are taking part in the drive, and each student should bring in two non-perishable items. They will deliver food during the Halloween parade on Thursday to St. Vincent de Paul. This is part of our call to service and aligns with our school theme for the year. Thank you for your donation!
Rosary Group: Our Parent Rosary Group will be meeting again this year! Join us on Monday mornings once a month from 8:30-8:50 a.m. in the Spanish Room to pray for students, staff, parents, and the St. Charles community. All are welcome to join in prayer - no experience necessary! Prayer sheets and rosaries will be provided. The first gathering will be tomorrow, October 28.
Spirit Wear Wednesday: Wear uniform bottoms with a St. Charles t-shirt, sweatshirt, or jacket for Spirit Wear Day on Wednesday, October 30.
All Saints Day Mass: Join us for All-School Mass on Friday, November 1 at 8:30 a.m. for All Saints Day. Our 6th Graders will be leading the Mass.
Oconomowoc Food Pantry Donations: Our 2nd Grade Brownie Troop is asking for donations for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry! Items are needed by November 5, and there is a collection box outside of Mrs. Halvorson's classroom. Thank you for your generosity!
Volunteers Needed For Lunch: Volunteers are needed for lunch duty in the coming weeks! If you have time for a quick shift, please sign up here. This is a great way to fulfill your service hours. We appreciate your time!
Looking Ahead to Next Week:
