Reminders for this week:
Oconomowoc Food Pantry Donations: Our 2nd Grade Brownie Troop is asking for donations for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry! Items are needed by Tuesday, and there is a collection box outside of Mrs. Halvorson's classroom. Thank you for your generosity!
St. Charles Book Fair: The Book Fair runs from Tuesday (Student Preview Day) through Monday, November 11 with the fair being open during Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday and Friday. This is a great time to get some early Christmas shopping done! If you would like to help with this year's Superhero Book Fair, please sign up here.
Masses This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade attend Mass on Tuesday with 3rd Graders in Mrs. Henkel's class leading the Mass, and Grades 5 through 8 attend Mass on Thursday with 7th Graders in Mrs. Nelson's class leading the Mass. Please join us for Mass, which begins at 8:30 a.m. each weekday morning.
Be a Superhero to Others: Donate gently-used books on Wednesday! Bring in at least one book, and your child can dress down that day. These books will be donated to students at St. Anthony in Milwaukee, our sister parish, as our Book Fair Service Project. Share your Reading Super Powers!
8th Grade Bake Sale: Help us raise money for graduation! There will be a bake sale to support our 8th grade class during lunch on Wednesday.
Spirit Wear Wednesday: Wear uniform bottoms with a St. Charles t-shirt, sweatshirt, or jacket for Spirit Wear Day on Wednesday.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday from 12:30-7:30 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Click here to sign up! Don't forget - students will be released at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, and there is no school on Friday.
Volunteers Needed: Volunteers are needed for the health room in the coming weeks! If you have time for a quick shift, please sign up here. This is a great way to fulfill your service hours. We appreciate your time!
Looking Ahead to Next Week:
Culver's Night Out: St. Charles Night at Culver's in Hartland is on Monday, November 11! Stop in for dinner or dessert between 5-8 p.m. and mention St. Charles. 10% of sales from the evening will be donated by Culver's to the parish and school. Offer good for dine in or carry out.
David and Goliath Celebration: Join us for our David and Goliath Celebration on Wednesday, November 13! The event will run from 9:30-11 a.m. and is open to children up to the age of 5. Click here for more information and for the sign-up form.
Parenting 101 Presentation: Dr. Jacqueline Borthwick will be giving a presentation about parenting on Wednesday, November 13 from 6-7 p.m. in the IMC.
