Here are a few reminders for this week:
Silent Entrance and Dismissal: We will continue to have Silent Entrance and Silent Dismissal this week as we prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ throughout this Advent season. Silent Entrance will be tomorrow, and Silent Dismissal will be on Friday.
Mass Days This Week: Students in 5K-4th Grade will attend Mass on Tuesday with students in 2nd Grade leading the Mass. Students in 5-8th Grade will attend Mass on Thursday with 6th Graders in Mrs. Mullen's homeroom leading the Mass. Please join us! Mass begins at 8:30 a.m. each day.
Spirit Wear for SCRIP Wednesday: Students can wear spirit wear shirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesday! Although you do not need to purchase SCRIP for your child to wear spirit wear, we encourage you to purchase it throughout the year in support of St. Charles! Click here to learn more about SCRIP.
Butter Braid Fundraiser: Did you order Butter Braid pastries? If so, please pick up your order on Thursday from 5-6 p.m. at the Gym entrance. All orders must be picked up that evening!
Warming Tree Donations: One of St. Charles' small groups is collecting items for the Schuster Mansion's Warming Tree! Located in Milwaukee, the mansion takes donations of hats, mittens, and scarves and puts them on a tree for the neighborhood to take when it gets cold. They usually give away about 1,000 items every winter and only have 100 so far. Hats, gloves, scarves, mittens, and blankets (large or small) can be donated in the bin outside of the School Office by Friday. Thank you for your generosity!
Looking ahead to the week of December 20:
Endter's Night: St. Charles Night at Endter's in Hartland is on Sunday, December 20 from 4-10 p.m.! Endter's will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles Parish School. Dine in or carry out. Don't forget to buy SCRIP for Endter's! They generously give us a 20% rebate on gift cards.
Red & Green Day: Students and staff are invited to dress down for Red & Green Day on Monday, December 21!
Early Release: Wednesday, December 23 is an Early Release Day. All students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.
All-School Mass: Students in 5K-8th Grade will celebrate Mass together (in the Church and Borromeo Room) on Wednesday, December 23 at 8:30 a.m. Students must be in uniform for Mass.
Advent Parties: Classrooms will be hosting their Advent parties on Wednesday, December 23. Please watch for communication from your child's teacher.
