The Final Week of School!
Congratulations on a successful 2017-2018 School Year. Thank you for your support this year and thank you for choosing St. Charles Parish School for your child's Catholic school education.
There are only 3.5 days of school remaining but we have some important reminders as we quickly move through the next week:
Final All School Mass on Thursday, June 7 followed by a reception for Mrs. Anderson: Join us for Mass at 8:30 am on Thursday as we end the school year and bless our students for the summer months. Following Mass there will be a reception for Mrs. Anderson in the Borromeo Room for students and parents to say goodbye to our principal for the last six years. Stop in for a treat.
Last Day of School is an Early Release Day: Students in 5K through 7th Grade will be released at 11:45 am. Students in 3K and 4K released at 11:30 am.
Before You Head Our for Summer: The School Staff is taking part in a final service project for the year and we invite school families to join us. We are collecting diapers of any size and baby wipes for Life's Connection in Waukesha, which serves women in need through the journey of motherhood. Please place donated items underneath the JOY display on the IMC window by Thursday, June 7. All donations will be delivered to Life's Connections on June 7. We ask Mary, our Mother, to bless and protect all mothers and babies. Thank you for your support!
Hartland Hometown Parade: Who's joining in the fun and walking alongside the float for the Hartland Hometown Parade? This is a family-friendly event and it won't take up your entire weekend. We welcome all families to join us and it's the place to be in Hartland on Sunday, July 1. Each participant receives a free t-shirt. Email t-shirt order to Julie Kirby by Tuesday, June 5 with the following information: family name, t-shirt sizes for adults and children and the number of t-shirts in total. More details here.
Also, we need individually wrapped candy that kids pass out along the parade route. Can you help? There is a bin outside the School Office for candy collections. Please no chocolate and any other candy that will melt. Hard candy, suckers and bubble gum always please the crowd.
Register Student Athletes By June 17 To Avoid Late Fee: St. Charles Athletic registration for the 2018-2019 School Year is now open. Click here to register your student athlete for cross country, volleyball, basketball, cheer and track. All students in 5th through 8th Grades are welcome to take part in our athletic program.
The registration period runs through Sunday, June 17. Registrations after June 17 are subject to a $25 late fee.
Fall volleyball team commitments are due in early July and coaches would like to know which students are playing before the end of June. Please register early!
Lost and Found Bins: Very few items have been taken from the Lost and Found bins. Please stop and look at the bin outside of the School Office and the other bin downstairs in the middle school area and search for lost items. There are lots of jackets and clothes that you will be happy to find. Take 5 minutes to search and you will find a treasure. Anything left in the bins on Thursday, June 7 will be donated.
This is the last "Week Ahead Reminders" until August. The "Weekly Rundown" newsletter will continue each week and look for those emails on Thursday mornings this summer. There is a lot of information shared over the summer so be sure to take a look at it each week.
