Here are a few reminders for this week:
MAP Testing: Students in 5K-8th Grade are taking MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) Tests in reading and math this Spring. This test measures both academic achievement and growth throughout the year. Testing will occur over the next two weeks. Your child's teacher will communicate specific dates for their class. Individual reports will be sent home before the end of the year. Masses This Week: Students in 4K-4th Grade will attend Mass on Tuesday with 4th Graders leading the Mass. Students in 5th-8th Grade will attend Mass on Thursday with 5th Graders leading the Mass. Please join us! Mass begins at 8:30 a.m. each day. Students must be in uniform.
Spirit Wear for SCRIP Wednesday: Students can wear spirit wear shirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesday! You do not need to purchase SCRIP for your child to wear spirit wear, but we encourage you to purchase it throughout the year in support of St. Charles!
Chick-Fil-A Lunch: The Home and School Association will be hosting a Chick-Fil-A Lunch fundraiser on Wednesday! Please complete the order form and turn it in by tomorrow morning.
Little Mermaid, Jr. Spring Musical: St. Charles students are very excited to perform for you on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Please visit our website for more information and to purchase your tickets!
Looking ahead to the week of May 15:
Endter's Night Out: St. Charles Night at Endter's is on Sunday, April 15 from 4-10 p.m.! Endter's will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles Parish School. Dine in or carry out. Don't forget to buy SCRIP for Endter's! They generously give us a 20% rebate on gift cards.
Borromeo Room Greeters: We are in need of help in our Borromeo Room the week of May 16! Parent volunteers will welcome visitors and direct them to the Parish Office as needed. This is a great chance to meet parishioners and fellow parents! Please visit our sign-up page to check out what opportunities we have open.
