Reminders to start off your week:
Early Release Day On Tuesday, Sept. 18: Students in grades 5K through 8th Grade are released at 11:45 am. Students in 3K and 4K are released at 11:30 am, This InService Day allows teachers a day to work at school on the upcoming accreditation. Looking ahead the next Teacher InService Day is Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Power School Passwords To Be Sent Home: Passwords and login information for Power School, the online portal that allows parents to check student grades, assignments, absences, etc., will be sent home Wednesday, Sept. 19. Please make sure you look for this paper in your child's backpack.
Spirit Wear On Wednesday, Sept. 19: Students are encouraged to wear Spirit Wear shirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesday, Sept. 19 and every Wednesday during the school year. Need more Spirit Wear? The fall sale begins later this month. Learn more here.
Mass Days This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade will attend Mass on Tuesday, Sept. 18 and students in 5th through 8th Grades attend Thursday, Sept. 20. Please remember no shorts and no Dress Down Passes on Mass days.
Soles Walk For Catholic Education Dress Down Day: Mark your calendar for Retired Shirt Day this Friday, Sept. 21. Students may wear a walk shirt from any of the previous 5 years, along with jeans or other appropriate dress down bottoms. Only students with a Soles Walk shirt are eligible to dress down.
Also the 1st winner of the $100 + Prize Raffle will be drawn during morning announcements on Friday. Students of families donating $100 or more to the Soles Walk will be entered. Please remember all donations stay at St. Charles for tuition assistance. Take a look at all fun planned around the Soles Walk here. All families should have received a Soles Walk information sheet and envelope at the end of last week. Please check your child's backpack if you haven't seen it. Dress Down Passes: Purchase five Dress Down passes for $10 and let your kids have days off from wearing their uniform. Print the form here and turn it into the School Office. The $10 fee will be applied to your TADS account. Students must use all their passes by mid-January 2019. Dress Down passes can't be used on Mass days. Please return the forms this week. Dress Down Passes will be distributed to families later this month.
ADORE Family Holy Hour On Friday, Sept. 21: Please join this wonderful group for adoration and then play in the gym to round out the evening. Adoration begins at 6:30 pm. More information here.

Tuesday, Sept. 25: Last day for free registration for the Soles Walk for Catholic Education. Don't delay! Sign up now. This is a fun event and you will be done walking and celebrating by about noon.
