Reminders to start off your week:
Soles Walk FREE Registration Ends Tuesday, Sept. 25: Last day for free registration for the Soles Walk for Catholic Education. Don't delay! Sign up now. This is a fun event and you will be done walking and celebrating by about noon on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Mount Mary University. Register here and look under =E2=80=9CSt. Charles =E2=80=93 Hartland Crusaders." Join our team now! Our goal is 300 registered walkers.
Jingle, Jingle, Jingle ... Penny Wars Begins Wednesday, Sept. 26: Bring in your pennies and silver and dollar bills as Penny Wars opens this week. Classes compete and the jar with the most pennies wins. But watch out because classes sabotage each other by putting silver coins and dollar bills in their competitors' jars. Spirit Wear On Wednesday, Sept. 26: Students are encouraged to wear Spirit Wear shirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesday, Sept. 26 and every Wednesday during the school year. Need more Spirit Wear? The fall sale begins Sept. 28. Learn more here.
Mass Days This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade will attend Mass on Tuesday, Sept. 25 and students in 5th through 8th Grades attend Thursday, Sept. 27. Please remember no shorts and no Dress Down Passes on Mass days.
School Makeup Photos On Friday, Sept. 28: School Photo Makeup (or Retake) Day in the Parish Hall. If your child would like to retake his or her photo, please bring the proofs and give them to the photographer. If your child hasn't taken a school photo yet he or she will take the photo on this day. Students are welcome to wear whatever they want for the photos but they will have to change into their uniform after the photos unless they have a Dress Down pass.
Second Soles Walk Raffle Pulled This Friday, Sept. 28: The 2nd winner of the $100 + Prize Raffle will be drawn during morning announcements on Friday. Students of families donating $100 or more to the Soles Walk will be entered Please remember all donations stay at St. Charles for tuition assistance. Congratulations to Mackenize Kempen in 4K who was the winner last week and received light up shoelaces and a Dress Down pass.
School Directory - 1st Draft: The first draft of the 2018-2019 St. Charles Parish School Directory is now available. Please link to the directory here . We ask that you take a few minutes to review your family's information. If information is incorrect please email Christina Holmes with the correct information and the changes will be made for the final directory.
Please send corrections by Monday, Sept. 24, 2018. The final directory will be sent electronically early next month. Thank you again for reviewing your family's information.

Through Monday, Oct. 8. St. Charles Spirit Wear Sale. Order t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, flannel pants and more for kids, men and women. Students are welcome to wear Spirit Wear t-shirts and sweatshirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesdays. Learn more about the sale here.
Monday, Oct. 1. Homework Club starts at 3:25 pm and ends at 4:15 pm. Middle school students work with students in lower grades on homework or educational games. It's free and most kids love it. To enroll click here. For middle school students who want to help click here.
Wednesday, Oct. 3: Pumpkin Patch Outing -- the October Jesus and Me get-together is a trip to Ebert's Greenhouse Village Pumpkin Farm in Ixonia. All preschoolers are invited to this event on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 1 pm to 2 pm. Learn more here.
Thursday, Oct. 4 and Friday, Oct. 5: No school for Teacher Inservice Days.
