Homework Club Begins Monday, Oct. 1. Homework Club starts at 3:30 pm and ends at 4:15 pm. Middle school students work with students in lower grades on homework or educational games. All School Mass On Tuesday, Oct. 2: Join the students and staff for Mass on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 am. Our 7th Graders will lead the Mass. Please remember no shorts on Mass days.
Spirit Wear Sale Now On: Order t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, flannel pants and more for kids, men and women. Students are welcome to wear Spirit Wear t-shirts and sweatshirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesdays and these items are perfect for parents to wear anytime. Learn more about the sale here. Are Your Coins Safe? Now that Penny Wars have started your kids may be looking through your wallet and purse for any and all spare change. Make it easy on them and have the change (and dollar bills) ready for them when they ask. Penny Wars ends at 3:30 pm this Wednesday, Oct. 3.
A quick recap: Classes compete and the jar with the most pennies wins. But watch out because classes sabotage each other by putting silver coins and dollar bills in their competitors' jars. Pennies are positive but all other money is negative. The winning class gets to pie Principal Garvey in the face during an assembly later this month. Read more about the Penny Wars and other Soles Walk activities here. And remember that all money raised for the Soles Walk stays at St. Charles for tuition assistance.
Finally, we will pull another name this week for our $100 or more donation raffle. For parents who donate at least $100 to the soles Walk their children are entered into a raffle. The name of one student is pulled each week and that winner receives a special prize.
Soles Walk Less Than Three Weeks Away: Sign up for the Soles Walk and join thousands of other Catholic school supporters in the Milwaukee area as we celebrate Catholic education. This is a fun event and you will be done walking and celebrating by about noon on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Mount Mary University. If you're unable to participate but want to donate you can drop off a check to the School Office or Parish Office with the check made out to St. Charles Parish School or you can donate online at this link.
Pumpkin Patch Outing: The October Jesus and Me get-together is a trip to Ebert's Greenhouse Village Pumpkin Farm in Ixonia. All preschoolers are invited to this event on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 1 pm to 2 pm. Learn more here.

Monday, Oct. 8: St. Charles Night at Culver's in Hartland. Stop in for dinner or dessert between 5 pm and 8 pm and mention St. Charles and 10 percent of the sales from the evening will be donated by Culver's to the parish and school. Offer good for dine in or carry out!
Wednesday, Oct. 10: Spirit Wear Wednesday. Wear uniform bottoms with a St. Charles t-shirt, sweatshirt or jacket.
