Reminders for a full week of school:
Last Week To Wear Shorts: The weather is cooling off a bit which means shorts season is coming to an end. This is the last full week that students are allowed to wear shorts. Shorts season runs from April 15 to Oct. 15. Have your kids get their shorts fix this week!
Spirit Wear Sale Ends Monday Night -- Place Your Order by Midnight on Monday, Oct. 8: Order t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, flannel pants and more for kids, men and women. Students are welcome to wear Spirit Wear t-shirts and sweatshirts with uniform bottoms on Wednesdays and these items are perfect for parents to wear anytime. Learn more about the sale here. Please note this is the only Spirit Wear Sale before Christmas in case you would like to order gifts.
Culver's Night On Monday, Oct. 8: Monday is St. Charles Night at Culver's in Hartland. Stop in for dinner or dessert between 5 pm and 8 pm and mention St. Charles and 10 percent of the sales from the evening will be donated by Culver's to the parish and school. Offer good for dine in or carry out!
General Mills Box Tops For Education Fundraiser: Send in those Box Tops by Oct. 15 so we can get them counted and sent to General Mills by the Nov. 1 deadline. This is an easy fundraiser so we hope all of our families take part in it. Just buy your normal products, clip the box tops and send them to school. We'll handle the rest. Please give Box Tops to your child's teacher or drop them in the School Office.
Masses This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade attend Mass on Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Grades 5 through 8 attend Mass on Thursday, Oct. 11.
Spirit Wear Wednesday: Wear uniform bottoms with a St. Charles t-shirt, sweatshirt or jacket for Spirit Wear Day Wednesday, Oct. 10.
Soles Walk Less Than Two Weeks Away: Sign up for the Soles Walk and join thousands of other Catholic school supporters in the Milwaukee area as we celebrate Catholic education. This is a fun event and you will be done walking and celebrating by about noon on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Mount Mary University. Register here and look under =E2=80=9CSt. Charles =E2=80=93 Hartland Crusaders." Join our team now! Our goal is 300 registered walkers. If you're unable to participate but want to donate you can drop off a check to the School Office or Parish Office with the check made out to St. Charles Parish School or you can donate online at this link.
Looking Ahead To The Week of Oct. 15:
Early Release on Tuesday, Oct. 16: Students in 5K through 8th Grade released at 11:45 am and students in 3K and 4K released at 11:30 am. This early release gives teachers time to work together as a staff. Thank you for understanding and accommodating our teachers.
