Reminders for the last full week of October:

Volunteers Needed For Lunch: Volunteers are very much needed for lunch duty this week. It certainly helps to have parents assist our lunchroom staff so if you have time for a quick shift this week please sign up here. These are great ways to fulfill your service hours. We appreciate your time and effort!

Halloween Parade Permission Slip: Please print the Halloween permission slip here and fill it out and return to your child's teacher. Permission slips are due by Friday, Oct. 26. The Halloween Parade on Oct. 31 begins about 1:30 pm and students in 4K through 8th Grade will travel through downtown Hartland in their costumes. PLEASE NOTE: Students in 3K will not take part in the parade so a permission slip is not needed for students in that grade.

Masses This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade attend Mass on Tuesday, Oct. 23 with 3rd Grade leading the Mass and Grades 5 through 8 attend Mass on Thursday, Oct. 25 with 8th Graders in Ms. Roth's class leading the Mass. Please join us for Mass which begins at 8:30 am each weekday morning.

Spirit Wear Wednesday: Wear uniform bottoms with a St. Charles t-shirt, sweatshirt or jacket for Spirit Wear Day Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Pep Rally Friday For Seton Volleyball Tournament: Join us at 2:45 pm on Friday, Oct. 26 in the gym for a Pep Assembly to cheer on the 8th Grade Girls and Boys Teams headed to the Seton Volleyball Tournament. Let's congratulate our student athletes as they prepare for the tournament.

Trivia Night Is Back: Grab friends and create a team for the annual Trivia Night at St. Charles on Saturday, Nov. 17. If you've never attended this signature event you must try it this year. Loads of fun and laughter and some very tough questions. It's a great way to meet other parents and parishioners while raising money for the school. There are perks if you register before Nov. 1. For more information and to register visit this link.

Food & Diaper Drive For Oconomowoc Food Pantry: The 1st Grade Daisy Troop is collecting food and diapers for the Oconomowoc Food Pantry. Please consider supporting this effort. A collection bin is located outside the 1st Grade classroom. Donated items will be delivered to the food pantry on Monday, Nov. 5th when the troop visits. The food pantry has a particular need for canned fruit and veggies, mac n cheese, canned soup, canned beef stew, canned meat, peanut butter, breakfast cereal, diapers, condiments, crackers, pasta and pasta sauce. If you have any questions please email Lori Borg.

2019 St. Charles Auction: Mardi Gras-Celebrating a Catholic Tradition!
Earlier this month information about the St. Charles Auction was sent home with your children. Look for the 2019 Save-the-Date Letter, Sponsorship Opportunities, Donation Form and the Wish List. For more information about the 2019 Auction, contact Co-Chairs Wendy Crisci and Elizabeth Andekian. Reserve Saturday, March 9 on your calendar because you don't want to miss this terrific event.

Looking Ahead To Next Week
Halloween Parade and Parties: Celebrate Halloween with your kids at school with classroom parties beginning at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Learn more about your child's party from the room parents for your classroom.
