May 18, 2025 The Week Ahead

Here are a few reminders for this week:

Sweet Dreams Dining Out: Please stop by Sweet Dreams in Hartland anytime between 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday and let staff know you are there for St. Charles' Dining Out. We will receive at least 10% of sales tomorrow!

Masses This Week: Students in 3K-4th Grade will attend Mass on Tuesday with 3rd Graders in Mrs. Dietzel's homeroom leading the Mass. Students in 5th-8th Grade will attend Mass on Thursday with 8th Graders leading the Mass. Please join us! Mass begins at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and at 9 a.m. on Thursday. Students must be in uniform.

Field Day Updates: Our annual Field Day will be on Wednesday! For more information about the day, please check out our letter for parents. Interested in helping out throughout the day? Please visit our sign-up page to check out available opportunities. We are especially in need of a grill to make lunch for our scholars. Please consider supporting this year's beloved event!

CMH Info Night at St. Charles: Stop by for an evening exclusive to St. Charles families who would like to learn more about what Catholic Memorial High School has to offer on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the STEM Room. This event is open to parents of students in all grades. Attendees will have an opportunity to speak with CMH staff, current CMH parents and students, and CMH alumni. Hawaiian Day: Our Student Council is hosting a Hawaiian Dress Down Day on Friday!

Awards Ceremony: Our 8th Grade Awards Ceremony will be on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Borromeo Hall!

Looking ahead to the week of May 25:
No School: There is no school on Monday, May 26 in honor of Memorial Day.

Duke's Dining Out: St. Charles' Dining Out at Duke's (formerly Endter's) is on Wednesday, May 28 from open to close! Duke's will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles Parish School. Dine in or carry out. Don't forget to buy SCRIP for Duke's! They generously give us a 20% rebate on gift cards.

8th Grade Graduation: Please keep the Class of 2025 in your prayers as they prepare for Graduation on Thursday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m.!

Read-A-Thon: We are planning a school-wide Read-a-thon on Friday, May 30! We are looking for parent volunteers to help during the storytimes as helpers or guest readers. Storytimes will be in fifteen-minute increments with multiple stories being shared at the same time. If you are interested, please visit our sign-up page and select the time you are available. Please also include the title of the book you want to share so we can screen for duplicate titles. This is a great way to provide fun reading opportunities the entire day and get scholars excited to read throughout the summer!
