Reminders for the coming full week of school:
Deadlines Approaching: If you're taking part in Trivia Night on Saturday, Nov. 17 registration forms are due this Tuesday, Nov. 13. Make plans to come to this very fun social event. To learn more and print the registration form click here.
Also registration for the St. Charles Ski and Snowboard Club is due this Friday, Nov. 16. You don't want to miss out on these super fun outings during the winter. Great deals and a good way to meet other St. Charles families. Learn plenty more here and register soon!
St. Charles Night at Culver's in Hartland on Monday, Nov. 12: Stop in for dinner or dessert between 5 pm and 8 pm and mention St. Charles and 10 percent of the sales from the evening will be donated by Culver's to the parish and school. Offer good for dine in or carry out!
Mass Days This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade attend Mass Tuesday, Nov. 13 with 2nd Graders (Mrs. Halvorson's class) leading and students in 5th through 8th Grades attend Thursday, Nov. 15 with 7th Graders (Mrs. Birk's class) leading. Please join us for Mass each morning at 8:30 am.
Spirit Wear Day: Spirit Wear Day is Wednesday, Nov. 14 and students are welcome to wear St. Charles Spirit Wear shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies with uniform bottoms.
Jesus and Me -- A Very Charlie Brown Thanksgiving: We're looking forward to seeing all preschoolers and their parents and family members on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 9:30 am for a special Thanksgiving feast. Learn much more here.
Dress Down Day Friday, Nov. 16: Student Council leaders have organized a Sports Dress Down Day on Nov. 16. Wear your favorite football shirt or jersey and jeans, sweats, pants or skirts and dresses for this Dress Down Day. No yoga pants or leggings unless they are worn under skirts and dresses. Your "fee" to Dress Down is a non-perishable food item for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
ADORE Family Holy Hour on Friday, Nov. 16: Come together for Eucharistic Adoration and playtime after adoration. All children are welcome. Learn more about the evening here.
St. Charles Night at Endter's in Hartland: Stop by Endter's on Sunday, Nov. 18 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. for dinner. Endters will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles Parish School. Dine in or carry out. See you there! To make the most of this dining night out buy SCRIP for Endter's in the Parish Office and then spend it on Nov. 18. Endter's has the highest profit rate of all our SCRIP vendors with 20 percent profit given back to St. Charles. Thank you Endter's!
Looking Ahead To Next Week
Tuesday, Nov. 20: All School Mass with students in 3K through 8th Grade attending with 5th Graders leading. Mass starts at 8:30 am. Please join us.
Wednesday, Nov. 21: Early release for the start of Thanksgiving Vacation. Students in 3K and 4K released at 11:30 am and students in 5K through 8th Grade released at 11:45 am.
Wednesday, Nov. 21: Thanksgiving Family Mass beginning at 7 pm. This is a very special Mass and the perfect way to start your Thanksgiving holiday. Students are needed to lead the Mass! Learn more here.
Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23: No school for Thanksgiving Vacation.
Monday, Nov. 26: No school for Teacher In-Service. School resumes Tuesday, Nov. 27.
