December 14, 2025 The Week Ahead

Here are a few reminders for this week:
Advent Silent Entrance/Exit: We will have Silent Entrance tomorrow and Silent Exit on Friday!

Dress Down Days: Students and staff are welcome to dress down this week! Below are each day's themes:

Monday: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ~ light up your outfit with lights
Tuesday: Feliz Navidad ~ red, green, and white day
Wednesday: Here Comes Santa Claus ~ wear Santa hats and shirts
Thursday: Christmas Sweater Day
Friday: Dress Up for Jesus ~ wear your Sunday best

Pizza Lunch: Our 8th Graders are sponsoring our pizza lunch fundraiser on Wednesday! No hot lunch will be served that day. Please have your child bring a lunch if they did not place an order. Sorry, no late orders will be accepted.

Advent Service Project: We are partnering with Our Lady of Grace Academy, a 4K-8th Grade Catholic school in Racine, to create care packages for their classrooms. Please consider donating an item or items that are assigned to your student=E2=80=99s grade level. We will be accepting donations through Wednesday.

3K ~ single-serving Goldfish crackers
4K ~ applesauce pouches
5K ~ box of fruit snacks
1st Grade ~ individual snacks (cheese crackers, Pop Corners, etc.)
2nd Grade ~ granola bars
3rd Grade ~ granola bars
4th Grade ~ package of protein sticks (ie. Slim Jims)
5th Grade ~ box of tissues (Kleenex)
6th Grade ~ deodorant or Chapstick
7th Grade ~ stretchy gloves and/or a hat
8th Grade ~ stretchy gloves and/or a hat

Duke's Dining Out: St. Charles' Dining Out at Duke's is on Wednesday from open to close! Duke's will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles Parish School. Dine in or carry out. Don't forget to buy SCRIP for Duke's! They generously give us a 20% rebate on gift cards.

Strings & Band Advent Concert: Our Strings and Band Advent Concert will be on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Borromeo Hall. Please join us for an evening of joyous music!

Advent Classroom Parties: We will have Advent classroom parties on Thursday!

Mass This Week: Students in 4K-8th Grade will attend our all-school Mass on Friday with students in 2nd Grade leading the Mass. Please join us! Mass begins at 8:30 a.m. Students must be in uniform.

Living Nativity: Our 2nd and 3rd Graders are excited to participate in the Living Nativity! All are welcome to attend on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church.

Early Release: Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. on Friday for Christmas Break. Staff and students will return on Monday, January 5.

REMINDERS

Re-enrollment: Re-enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is open through Friday, January 9. Families are also able to submit applications for children who do not currently attend St. Charles. Applications for new families will open on Thursday, January 15.
