August 23, 2026                                                              The Week Ahead
Here are a few reminders for this week:
Meet & Greet: We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Meet & Greet on Tuesday! You are welcome to stop by anytime between 12-6 p.m. to drop off school supplies, take yearbook photos, and meet homeroom teachers. Please enter through the school's entrance doors only. Please contact the School Office with any questions.

Children's Choir Camp: All students in 3rd-8th Grade are invited to join us for our annual Choir Camp on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Church. We will begin with registration in the church corridor, and the morning will end with frozen treats before students proceed to Meet and Greet. For more information, contact Dr. Aaron Mathews, Director of Worship.

First Day of School: Our first day of school is Wednesday! We are excited to have our scholars' energy filling our halls again.

Parent Coffee Social: All parents are welcome to stop by the Cafeteria (Parish Hall) for coffee after dropping off your children on Wednesday morning! Thank you to our Home & School Association for hosting this event.

Safe Environment Training: Individuals interested in volunteering in our school must complete Safe Environment Training through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. We will be hosting training sessions at St. Charles this Wednesday and again on Tuesday, September 22. Training sessions are also available at local parishes if you are unable to attend at St. Charles. More information and registration can be found on their website

8th Grade Commissioning Mass: Our first all-school Mass of the year will be on Thursday with 8th Graders leading the Mass! Students must be in uniform. All are welcome to attend! Mass begins at 8:30 a.m.
NEWS & NOTES
Staff Update: We are excited to announce that Mrs. Niki Cairns will be our new 3K-5K Music Teacher! You may recognize her as our Spring Musical Director. She will be working alongside Mrs. Lauren Revers to teach our youngest scholars. In addition to her work as a director, she has previously taught at Divine Redeemer in multiple roles.

Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures: We will utilize the same morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures as we did last year. Please review our parking lot map for more information prior to Wednesday. The west parking lot does not open until 2:50 p.m., and we ask that you do not line up on the street prior to that time. We want to remain respectful of our neighbors by not blocking driveways. Please be sure to slow down in the parking lot, as well! We appreciate everyone=E2=80=99s patience, kindness, and cooperation as these procedures may take a bit longer in the beginning of the year as we all learn the routine. Our number one priority is to keep our students safe!

Hot Lunch Program: If you would like your child to participate in the hot lunch program this year, please register for an account with Kettle Moraine. Visit their website and select Parochial Schools for more information.
