MISSION STATEMENT: St. Charles Parish School in Hartland, Wisconsin nourishes and grows a vibrant Catholic community committed to innovation, responsiveness and compassion as it prepares and challenges students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives.
Happy Advent Everyone!
Wow! What a terrific Advent Concert as our students gave a rockstar performance last week! It was so fun to see our students actively engaged with music, enjoying the fun songs, and learning to play different instruments. Thank you to Ms. Jeanne Marie Stalteri for all her work to make this performance an amazing showcase of our students=E2=80=99 talents. Another big thank you to Mrs. Connie Fellows and her outstanding work with our band students. Thank you to Dr. Aaron Mathews for his time and dedication to ensure our students had beautiful music to sing along to and thank you to all the teachers for their flexibility with scheduling of rehearsals and assistance during the concert.
Finally, many thanks to Mr. Gregg Brunclick and Clearwing Productions for his company's work to make our concert special and memorable. There are not many schools that have a professional lighting and sound system crew at their school concerts. We are most fortunate.
This took a tremendous amount of teamwork and I am incredibly proud of our team!

A Few Other Items ...
Re-enrollment: I apologize for the confusion with re-enrollment and the delayed emails coming from TADs. All families should have received an email about re-enrollment from TADs on Thursday, Dec. 19. If you haven't received that email please do let me know. We're sorry for the delay and we've worked with TADs to rectify the situation. Re-enrollment for current families (which also allows current families to register a younger family member who will be new to the school) runs through Tuesday, Jan. 15. Again my apologies and if you have any concerns or questions about re-enrollment please email or call me at 262-367-2040.
Lockdown Drill: We had our first lockdown drill of the school year on Monday and everything went very well. Hartland Police Department was on site and gave us glowing remarks for how well our students and staff did during the drill. At this time, they do not have any recommendations for us. We will continue to practice and assess our safety procedures so that we can make the necessary improvements to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Thank you, parents, for talking with your children about these types of drills and why they are important to practice.
Following His plan,
Mr. Garvey
