Wednesday, Jan. 23: Rosary Group meets at 8:30 am in Life Teen Cafe
Wednesday, Jan. 23: Book Fair Opens and runs through Monday, Jan. 28. More information about browsing and volunteering is here.
Thursday, Jan. 24: Book Fair Bake Sale hosted by the 7th Grade. Items are 50 cents to $1 and there will be nut-free items for children with allergies. Send your kids to school with some extra change.
Friday, Jan. 25 - Monday, Feb. 4: Catholic Schools Week Spirit Wear Sale -- more information here. A reminder that Try-It-On weekend is Jan. 26 & 27 after all Masses.
Sunday, Jan. 27: Open House at St. Charles Parish School from 10 am to 1 pm -- more information here. If you're able to help at Open House and welcome prospective families to the school let us know here.
Monday, Jan. 28 - Friday, Feb. 1: Catholic Schools Week with activities and events planned for each day. A calendar of events is coming soon.
Thursday, Jan. 31: Dance-a-Thon with a Country Hoedown theme in the afternoon beginning at 1:45 pm. Students and staff will dance and help raise money for St. Charles. Information and pledge envelopes were sent home with students last week. Check their backpacks! Learn more here. We're also in need of parents to help during the hoedown so please visit this link.
Friday, Feb. 1: All-School Mass at St. Josaphat Basilica in Milwaukee. All families are invited to celebrate the Mass which begins at 9:30 am. Permission slips for children in 4K through 4th Grade are here and for students in 5th through 8th Grade here. Please return the permission slips by Thursday, Jan. 24.
Volunteers Needed In Many Areas: The second half of the year offers many volunteer opportunities for our families to fulfill service hours. We need help just about everywhere -- in the library, health room, lunchroom and much more. Please help! View the entire Sign Up Genius here
We also have some immediate needs for parents looking for weekend and evening volunteer opportunities. These are fun and easy shifts and don't take much time. Even a couple of hours on a weekend is a good way to fulfill parent service hours

St. Charles Auction and Dinner: There are many spots to be filled! We need your help selling raffle tickets on weekend Masses Feb. 23 & 24 and March 2 & 3, set up the morning of the auction and assistance during the auction. Working the auction is a great way to meet other parents.
Dress Down Passes Now On Sale: Dress Down Passes for the second semester are now on sale. Print the form and turn it into the School Office and Dress Down passes for your children will be sent home in February. Five passes are $10 and the cost will be billed to your TADs account. The sale ends Thursday, Jan. 31 so return your forms soon.
January Prayer Sheets Handed Out: Prayers for January were recently handed out by teachers. We encourage you to learn the same prayers your child is learning in class so to take a look at the prayer please visit this link.
Auction Tickets Now On Sale: Tickets for the Mardi Gras-themed St. Charles Parish and School Auction and Dinner are now on sale. In coming weeks you'll hear plenty more about the auction and dinner, all the fun planned for the evening and how you can support the school's largest fundraiser as a sponsor and a donor. St. Charles Open House -- Spread The Word: Postcards announcing the Open House at St. Charles were sent out across Lake Country last week. If you know someone who's interested in Catholic school for their kids please pass along the postcard or tell them to check out the website. Also listen on Relevant Radio (1640 am) throughout the day for the next couple of weeks to hear ads promoting our Open House from Principal Garvey!
