Parents and Students,

I hope everyone was safe and enjoyed the snow day! A few quick reminders since we were not in school on Wednesday:

* On Thursday students and staff are welcome to wear Spirit Wear since we missed it on Wednesday. Spirit Wear is allowed on top with uniform bottoms. And a reminder that the Catholic Schools Week Spirit Wear Sale begins Friday, Jan. 25 and runs through Monday, Feb. 4. This is your opportunity to buy St. Charles Parish and School attire for the spring and summer months. Don't miss out! The next sale is in the fall. Learn more here.

* The Book Fair Bake Sale sponsored by the 7th Grade class takes place Thursday at lunch. All treats are between 50 cents and $1 so send your children to school with extra change. There will be packaged Oreos and Swedish Fish for our students with nut allergies.

* After a one-day delay the 2019 Book Fair opens on Thursday. Mrs. Acker and her army of volunteers are ready to help our students find books they will fall in love with during our "Emojin the Possibilities" Book Fair. All parents are welcome to stop by and browse and buy. To learn more about our Book Sale click here.

* Our Rosary Prayer Group was canceled for Wednesday because of the snow but we have rescheduled it for next Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 8:30 am. This is the perfect time to prayers for our school, student, staff and families during Catholic Schools Week. See you in the Life Teen Cafe.

* Speaking of Catholic Schools Week, we are gearing up for a fantastic week to celebrate Catholic education! Please keep an eye out on Friday for the schedule beginning the week of Jan. 28. Click here if your child is in 4K through 4th Grade and here if your child is in 5th through 8th Grade. All permission slips are due Thursday, Jan. 24.

* Willy Wonka Jr. Auditions: Congratulations to all of our students who auditioned for the Spring Musical! We had over 50 students (2nd through 7th grades) audition and we are so proud of them for the courage they displayed in order to showcase some of their talents! We are very much looking forward to seeing this amazing event the first weekend of April. A big thank you to parent Mrs. Ferguson, St. Charles 2018 graduate Laynie Walloch and Mrs. Holmes for helping out during the lengthy auditions last Friday and being there for our kiddos!

* Re-enrollment: Enrollment is growing and going very well for the 2019-2020 school year! Our classrooms are robust and we are excited for new families already joining St. Charles. If you are planning to re-enroll, but haven=E2=80=99t done so yet, please refer to the email you received from TADS (December 20th). Email me if you need me to resend the enrollment instructions.
