Catholic Schools Week Announcements
We hope everyone enjoyed the Snow Day on Monday. We are closely monitoring the weather for snow and cold temps for the rest of the week. If we have another Snow or Cold Day we will let you know right away. Please stay tuned!
We certainly hope our students are in school for the remainder of Catholic Schools Week because we have activities and events scheduled for each day. Click HERE to see the full schedule. Just a reminder that Tuesday is Pajama Day! Students will also create a prayer mosaic, take part in an all-school Rosary and color paper bags for Piggly Wiggly.
Dance-a-Thon Envelopes Due Tuesday: Don't forget to return donations for the Dance-a-Thon. Students who return the envelopes by Tuesday, Jan. 29 will receive two raffle tickets and students who return the envelope by Wednesday, Jan. 30 receive one raffle ticket. A large basket of treats will be raffled off later this week. So grab those envelopes, include a donation and send them back to school with your kids Tuesday morning. The Dance-a-Thon is Thursday, Jan. 31 at 1:45 pm in the gym and the theme is a country hoedown so dress your kids in western wear for the day. Parents are welcome to join in the fun.
Birthday Bags: All teachers gave their students specific items to bring for the Birthday Bags that will be put together for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. If you don't know what your child is expected to bring please reach out to his or her teacher. All items are due this week as this is one of the service projects to be completed during Catholic Schools Week.
Dress Down Passes Due Thursday: Return Dress Down forms by Thursday, Jan. 31. Five passes cost $10. This is the last sale of the year.
Mass on Friday at St. Josaphat Basilica: Join us for Mass on Friday, Feb. 1 at the Basilica. The Mass begins at 9:30 am. Following Mass students in 4K through 4th Grade return to school to watch movies and students in 5th through 8th Grades go to Sussex Bowl.
