Reminders For The Week Ahead
We're looking forward to a full week of school after the last two weeks with uplanned snow and cold days. This is what we have coming up for the week of Feb. 4:
FINAL DAY for the Spirit Wear Sale: Did you check out all the new items in the St. Charles Spirit Wear Sale? There are new shirts and hats for kids, women and men that are perfect for spring. Hot Lunch Monday: After last week's interrupted schedule, we're hoping to get back on track with hot lunches. There is a change for hot lunch on Monday, Feb.4 and the entrees will be chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and salsa or a turkey and cheese sub.
Box Tops Contest: Start clipping and finding all of those General Mills Box Tops at the bottom of drawers and still on the boxes. Turn them into your child's teacher by Monday, Feb. 25. This is a classroom competition and the class with the most Box Tops receives a special treat. Make sure your Box Tops are in a plastic bag with the class name on the front.
Mardi Gras Auction: The annual Auction and Dinner is just one month away. Have you bought your tickets for the March 9 event? Reserve your seats HERE. This is the school's largest fundraiser and a wonderful night to celebrate. Find a babysitter, buy your tickets and start talking about the auction with your family and friends. Also raffle tickets for the $3,000 cash prize or year of free tuition at St. Charles Parish School and the raffle tickets for the classroom art projects will be sent home with your children very soon.
Pizza Lunch sponsored by the 8th Grade Class: Reserve Thursday, Feb. 21 for the next pizza lunch. There will be no hot lunch this day -- only pizza lunch. Click HERE to print the order form.
And finally some sweet photos from last week and the one day we were in school during Catholic Schools Week. Students dressed in pajamas and prayed the rosary as a school.
