1st Grade Teacher

BS in Marketing Management, Siena College

MAT in Elementary Education, Rockford College

I taught kindergarten in Illinois until my husband was transferred to Wisconsin for work. I was fortunate to be able to take some time when we moved to stay at home with our two sons. Once our youngest started kindergarten, I began working as a substitute teacher. I immediately fell in love with the warm, welcoming environment at St. Charles. The following year, I was hired as the aide in the 3K classroom, and I taught 4K the year after that. I eventually moved into a full-time position as the first grade teacher here at St. Charles. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to boat, go on walks with our Golden Retriever, bike, and travel to visit our families on the East Coast. Both of my sons play hockey, so we spend a lot of time watching hockey in the winter. 

I am so blessed to teach at St. Charles. I love the supportive and caring staff as well as the wonderful families that I get to work with here. It is a delight to be a part of such a compassionate teaching environment. I am thrilled to be able to accompany my students on their educational and faith journeys.
