Dan Garvey
Principal, St Charles Parish School

Mr. Garvey joined the St. Charles leadership team prior to the start of the 2018-19 school year, a time of unprecedented growth. Enrollment at St. Charles Parish School has doubled to over 340 students since 2009. In April 2018, the school received its third Exemplary Recognition Award in Educating the Whole Child from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Mr. Garvey served at St. Anthony School in Milwaukee in a multitude of roles including Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, Athletic Director, Lead Building Administrator and classroom teacher from 2007 to 2016. He then continued on to teach 6th Grade at Rufus King International Middle School in Milwaukee in the International Baccalaureate Program from 2016 to 2018.

Mr. Garvey demonstrates a commitment to Catholic identity, warmth and approachability, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills that are all so important to our community. With his competitive drive for excellence and clear sense of St. Charles’s mission, Mr. Garvey is continuing our school’s upward trajectory.
